Can I add a chat widget to my website?

Yes. Just copy one line of embed code and paste it into your website. The chat widget works on any website and supports customizable colors, greetings, and AI auto-responses.

Can I integrate Chaton with Shopify?

Yes. Chaton integrates with Shopify to display customer order history and customer data directly in the conversation sidebar, helping operators provide faster support.

AI & Automation

Does Chaton have AI features?

Yes. Chaton includes AI-powered auto-responses, automatic conversation classification, smart routing, label assignment, and real-time translation — powered by Claude AI from Anthropic.

Can the AI respond to customers automatically?

Yes. You can enable AI auto-response mode. The AI will answer customer inquiries based on your knowledge base content. You can also set up human handoff rules for complex cases.

How does the knowledge base work?

Add URLs for the AI to learn from. Chaton crawls the pages, extracts content, and uses it to generate accurate, context-aware responses to customer questions.

Is Chaton free?

Yes. Chaton offers a free plan with 1 operator, web widget, and basic AI features. No credit card required.

What does the Pro plan include?

The Pro plan ($49/month) includes unlimited operators, all messaging channels, advanced AI features, analytics dashboard, and priority support.

Is there an Enterprise plan?

Yes. Enterprise plans include dedicated support, custom SLAs, SSO, custom integrations, and volume pricing. Contact us for details.

Security & Privacy

Is Chaton GDPR compliant?

Yes. Chaton complies with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Korean PIPA, and Japanese APPI. Data Processing Agreements (DPA) are available upon request.

How secure is Chaton?

Chaton uses AES-256-GCM encryption for messages, TLS/SSL for all data in transit, immutable audit logging, and role-based access control. Regular security audits are performed.

Where is my data stored?

Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. International data transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required by GDPR.
